First Ever St. Michael
School Alumni Mass Held During
Homedays Weekend
A special thank you to all the St. Michael School Alumni
who attended our first annual Alumni Mass on Saturday,
August 4th at 4:30 pm. Pastor Fr. Pete gave
the alumni a special blessing and after Mass, an ice
cream social provided alumni a chance to see each other
and remember their St. Michael school days. More
alumni events are being planned. Please visit our
site periodically for alumni news, activities, and
updates.
St. Michael Alumnus Receives National
Award
Congratulations to former St. Michael student and Power
of the Pen alumnus Theresa P. Theresa, a senior
at Holy Name High School, received a National Council of
Teachers of English Achievement Award in Writing. The
award is presented in recognition of excellence in
writing by high school students during their junior
year.
This year, over 2,300 students from the 50 states,
Canada and the Virgin Islands participated in this
highly competitive program. Theresa was one of only 20
students from Ohio who received this award.
Congratulations Theresa and best wishes for future
success!
